Welcome to my page on the Baba Nyonya Peranakan Culture and her renowned cuisine. I will share with you my experiences growing up as a Baba, the cultural name given to the men, and post some recipes that I learned from both my Nyonya grandmothers. I hope you will enjoy reading about the Past, Traditions, and her famous enticing cuisine, while learning to cook some delectable dishes, some well-known and some quite obscure but equally delicious.
